Very early on, PREATONI Group took an interest in the multiple real estate projects which, following the 2008 financial crisis, were put on hold. The Group strives on how they could be relaunched, enabling customers to recoup all or part of their investment while at the same time creating value for the Group.

The Group's strategy is based on:

  • Leveraging the Group's expertise in identifying and structuring distressed projects by capitalizing on the Group's experience;
  • Launching new projects and organizing the required financing.

PREATONI TOWER

This project was taken over by PREATONI Group in 2014 and renamed Preatoni Tower JLT. The goal was to build close to 200-metre-high skyscraper comprising 554 units. It is a mixed-use (residential and commercial) site, with offices and shops, and top floors dedicated to residential units. The project was delivered in 2018.

Further to its first success in Dubai, PREATONI Group has resumed the development of a new project for which it obtained the necessary authorisations from the Dubai authorities in January 2023.

Initially launched in 2007 and subsequently abandoned, the project is located on Burj Khalifa Boulevard in the very centre of Dubai.

The current project involves the redevelopment of a tower with a marketable area of around 40,000 square meters (mixed use: shops on the lower floors, and residential units on the upper floors).

At the current stage, delivery is scheduled for end 2027.
